Easy up hood:
Tips from 11 years of experience.
1 Always press down on the rear of the hood frame, before trying to pull the release lever.
2 When erecting the hood, I use the following procedure.
a. Release the hood frame lever as above.
b. Erect hood carefully locating the front rail with the windscreen, to avoid kinking the rubber frame seal.
c. Locate front hook latches, but do not fully close.
d. With pressure of both hands, latch the rear frame (do not be tempted to slam shut)
e. Fully secure front latches.
