For that matter the Suplex RS front suspension is also adjustable over a 20mm range. Mine is currently set at a compromise 10mm up from the lowest ride height. This requires 2 10mm spacers (per side) instead of the standard single 20mm spacer.


I installed a Suplex Kit on My +8 Bitsa (1998 chassis & crosshead) using the low rideheight setting. Bilstein shock was too long (compressed) and it broke the bolt holding the upper shock perch. Installed a pair of Koni shocks which are a bit shorter. Actually drove to San Francisco and back with no shocks at all. Did not seem to need them. Seattle to San Francisco and back = 2,000 miles.
