My daughter, who is 18, persuaded someone yesterday, who was sitting on the rails at Kingston station waiting for a fast train, not to kill herself. Talked her off the rails by saying she would sit with her and talk to her - which she did. Nobody else did anything- quite a shock for her.
A proper hero (heroine?) well done to her. I hope she is recognised in some way for her actions. There's a family out there who must be very grateful.
