Basically. You've 50% more oil than bikes so there's more room to absorb stuff. I've over 23,000 miles on mine and the engine oil comes out looking like what I'm going to put in. It even feels like new oil.

I don't obsess over this. If I lived in the American Southwest where you hit ridiculously high temps then I would really change it out on time. Most of my driving is right here in Vermont so bundling up for the cold is more of an issue.


What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
