It was being tested on the ring by their test driver.
I wonder what they have learnt from that?
They want to break the long time lap record of Stefan Bellof with his Porsche 956 in 1983. (unbelievable 6:11) This is what Kornigsegg claims for officially on their homepage. But the Ring has its limits and it could be possible that Stefan's lap will keep record for a longer period of time.

In 2015 the Ring had a speed limit in consequence of a horrible crash when a Nissan GTR lost ground, flew into spectators and killed one. Then this section, called "Flugplatz" got modified and the speed limit went. So record trials are allowed again.

After the crash of Niki Lauda on the Ring, exactly 40 years ago F1 went away. Also breed like the 956 show the limits of the Ring (and the car and the driver and the physics) The Ring is fascinating but probably not made for every amount of power. On the other hand why not seek the challenge, and drivers can kill themselves there with a 120 HP car.
