1st rule of Morgan breakdowns is you will never ever need anything you have decided to carry but you will always need the thing you have just removed from the spares pack as you have carried it for years and never used it! The cars know you know ;-).
Seriously the list is endless but I would never leave home without at least a spare relay or two (my main ones are the same but I still carry 2) fuses, a length of electrical cable, a small bag of mixed terminals, a selection of nuts a bolts, some 'bailing wire' cable ties, bulbs, insulation tape, a tube of gasket goo (Hylomar is my choice) a couple of exhaust rubber bobbins and because they are Morgan specific and hard to get hold of for a Duratec car a spare accelerator cable. A bag of hand tools and after that my RAC card, if I can't fix it with that lot the RAC can have it. On longer runs I add a bottle of KSeal. I know others go on about spare spark plugs but after a working life in the trade I have not seen a car need a new spark plug in the last 30 years as a breakdown item......but I also carry them....because the car knows ;-)
