I really don't like to see such a strongly put opinion about a perfectly valid and well engineered upgrade to the front suspension. It is one thing to recommend an alternative but another thing to blag a product which for some reason or other the owner can't get to work for him, so much so that he feels it works best without the dampers. All I can say is that in that case something is clearly out of kilter.

When correctly installed the Suplex front suspension kit works extremely well and will give a more comfortable ride, reduced body roll, adjustable ride height, and rising rate suspension. Some have found that for them the standard kit does not give a quick turn in that they prefer, in that case the firmer main spring from the race kit can be fitted. I think that the results of the Henry Williams' race car prove that the Suplex front suspension is functioning ok.

I can recommend it and I am very satisfied with both the Suplex front and rear conversions.

Certainly there has been a cost involved but all things considered the front kit costs about the same as a good brand of watch and the rear (installed) is probably up around the price of a Rolex, just to put it into perspective. If you are needing to replace springs, kingpins and bushes, and want to install a decent set of dampers at the same time the additional cost of having something that really transforms the car is not so great.

Regarding the Mulberry set up I do not doubt for one moment that it is a perfectly acceptable solution. Like all things it often comes down to a matter of personal taste.

My recommendation would be to try to get a ride in cars set up with both systems and then choose which one you prefer.
