Steve, not sure the wishbone suspension is being advocated above either. I think you may find an improvement just by fitting Mulberry springs and dampers. But it makes sense to wait until your kingpins require replacement and fit hard chrome KPs and spiral grooved bronze bushes too.
However, how many miles has the car covered, maybe the front end hasn't loosened up fully yet?
