Following on from a post a couple of weeks ago about tools for removing the rear hubs on a Morgan.

A fellow Talk Morganeer very kindly sent me a copy of a drawing of the tool which he uses and after doing the hard parts (blind screw cutting a left hand thread) Sod's law intervened!

At this weekends Beaulieu Autojumble, I came across Orson Equipment's stall which had the very tool I was trying to make on it!

Its a fairly substantial bit of kit and seems more than adequate for the task in hand. Its dual ended so one side does the RH thread and other side does the LH threads.

Both ends are the correct 42m/m x 8 TPI for Morgan hubs

Price was £80 which seems good value compared to the cost of a halfway decent three leg puller!

Orson Equipment also had a range of Morgan wheel spinners in the usual formats: with ears, without ears, with the Morgan script and without the Morgan script. These were £20 each

Usual disclaimer: I've absolutely no connection with Orson Equipment Ltd.
