A couple of years ago at Prescott, in the rain, with my '76 4/4, attempting to exit car, Dixon Smith was standing next to me (kindly holding the driver's door open). He watched for a moment or so before stating "Don't worry. There is NO elegant way to get in / out of a Morgan when the hood is up!"

I wouldn't disagree with that. I just take a quick look around to see there aren't too many spectators and crawl out onto the kerb! ( The spectators thing isn't because of pride but Elf and Safety- it hurts when they step on your hands) doh
