Some of you will be aware that this issue rumbles on, others may be surprised that the latest letter from VW Group regarding Mrs Tuftie's 4x4 Yeti 'EA 189 service action' which is how the crooks at VW describe the issue, will rumble on into 2017. For her particular vehicle no fix is yet developed although they proudly state that 'over 440,000 affected vehicles' have had the fix approved, but not yet implemented it seems. Leaves an awful lot of vehicles currently without a fix in sight. No compensation this side of the Atlantic and no real apology.
