In Germany the media report this week that the government resp. the ministry of law is under suspicion to have delayed a new act which would allow German VW owners (and generally every citizen as well regarding other cases) to start a class action law suit, after US model. The reason for delaying is the VW scandal itself and VW lobbyists could have taken too much influence.
