Many years ago several of our Club members contacted me as I was Hon.Sec.they had issues when competing, their fibre glass wings being the problem.
I dropped over to the factory and had a chat with Peter, "Leave it with me Chas."was the outcome. A few days later Peter sent me a note with an official letter, phrased so well, read quickly it could be assumed that if the factory ran out of steel or aluminium wings they had been known to fit road weight fibre glass ones. If fitting aluminium wings may I suggest bonding a thin rubber "mat" on the underside to protect against stone chips.

Fascinating!
