How would cooling down a motor more quickly extend the life of anything? Im baffled by this idea.
If anything, I would assume the gradual lowering in heat would be far superior to purposefully "flash cooling"
My logic is that when I pull into the garage, the engine temp is high enough that the fan is running... to keep the engine happier. When I turn that jet off, the fan stops but the engine isn't any cooler. At least not immediately. If the fan stayed on until the temp dropped, that would be doing what my fan is doing. No?
