Looking at the ADR changes coming in new models must be euro 6 compliant by 2017 and existing models by 2018 so maybe these are the changes effecting Morgan, only the S5 Aero8 is Euro6 compliant.
Not sure what other changes are also coming in.
But if it's down to emissions then maybe they should switch from Ford engines to VW
