The particulate offenders are buses, trucks, old style taxi cabs, and transit type vans etc...
The latest diesel cars are not the offenders.
You can get rid of all the diesel cars on the road and replace them with shiny new Teslas and you won't have even begun to tackle the problem of air pollution.
What I would like to know more about is what is going to happen about the countries energy infrastructure and resultant environmental problems etc.. when all these millions of cars suddenly get plugged into the grid. Also, how the country is going to safely process all the millions of dead batteries from these millions of cars in our future electric car utopia.
