I've never sorn'd any of my Caterhams or Morgans either. They may not get used quite so much because of salt on the roads, but they certainly get used when rain has washed salt away.

Agree, and a bit of warm water soon gets the salt off.
However, my preference for headwear is a woolly bobble hat.
