A code reader is almost becoming an indispensable tool in the kit which we carry in the car.
I am afraid that I don't know which model is most suited to the Roadster BUT most of the generic ones will allow you to interrogate the ECU , read the fault codes and delete them. IF they return after deletion then start the diagnosis and remedy the problems.
