Slightly off topic but; during my career at Suzuki, our Field Service Engineers used to have a fuel quality and condition check top of the list, if a newish car or bike displayed odd running characteristics. This was especially so if the OBD was giving normal readings.
I worked out that for the 3000ish miles I do a year in my 4/4, the annual increased cost for filling up with V Power is only approximately £40 over standard Shell petrol or approximately £55 if I bought the cheapest local supermarket petrol.
