The S1 Roadster is a Jaguar base engine rather than ST220. There are subtle differences.
But a 2007 car may well be an S2 with the Escape engine.
The S1 has speedo and revcounter in front of the driver plus 4 small gauges across the dash.
The S2 just the revcounter in front of the driver with the speedo and 3 in 1 gauge in the centre panel.
Oh and S1's, are not known for showing engine warning lights. It's very unusual.
The S1 is not a jaguar based engine.

The S2 is Ford Escape....
The Jaguar engine has Variable valve timing and bucket tappet operation, whereas the Mondeo engine is fixed timing and finger followers
