All good stuff....and unlike Howard...I intend to spend every penny 😈
I can identify with much, if not all, of the "guide". I don't accept that spending our money on us is being selfish. We should all enjoy what we have, not worry about it.
So I agree 100% with Jays.
Hence.....
the new AMG C43.
and Tarka
and the new Canon M5.
and things I don't know I need, yet, that I'll buy.
and Caroline's horse
and her love of Chanel No 9...
and only silk blouses....
and our love of good food, short, extravagant holidays.
We made sure our kids were equipped to face the world and funded them as needed.
No 1 daughter is financially secure, earns more than me and needs love and affection, not money. She has started to pay back some of the loan fund and insists we put it in a savings plan to help pay for home nursing care!!
No 1 son is doing OK, would be better off if he didn't spend so much on cars. Wonder where he gets that from??? We still help him when needed, but he is getting much better at managing money.
Both kids expect to inherit nothing from us, if there is anything left it will be a "bonus".
