It looks like many Morgan owners start with a normal 4/4 but quickly swap to a Plus 4 or ARP4 (you lucky guy ;-) )
Knowing myself a bit, I'm wondering to which extent I'll not make the step directly to the PLUS4/Roadster.
Yes, I'm sure many owners do this - though possibly not as many as with other brands where 'bigger engine = faster + more status'.
When I drove Porsches, I ended up in a Turbo because the extra power suited the car and enhanced the handling rather than detracting. When I started driving Morgans, I went from a larger-engined car to a 4/4 because I loved the delicacy and lightness of the smaller-engined cars.
So my advice would be try them all. Also ask whether you will want to tour with lots of luggage, because much as I love the 4/4, it isn't suited to that task so well as a Plus 4 or Roadster.
