Your observation is indeed correct, Gilles. But my goal is certainly not to test the top speed but have car that shows more grunt.
If I go the Plus 4 route, I’d probably directly change induction & exhaust to make it to 200bhp. To the tax point, a recent Plus 4 is much cheaper than a Roadster…

Exactly in that sense, I will go Plus 4 or Roadster. And the luggage/touring is a very good point.
It is definitely not a status issue, but more about driving enjoyment.
