Proceed with care! Compression issues are common due to the rotors wearing. Day to day - start from cold and turn off before its fully warmed up and they wont re-start - it happens all the time to new owners who don't know.
Yes very cheap to buy! Very keen on petrol and high road tax as already said. They do look great but drive one first - they are not as good as the hype would suggest and in my view not worth the risk or hassle.
Indeed you pays your money.......but don't expect value or a bargain!
Seen at least 6 in the garage over the years - all have been hassle for the owners ( good earners for the trade mind!) Leave alone and buy a 6 cylinder BMW instead.
