I'm sure it will be all sorted to everyone's satisfaction and in the meantime MMC will have to deal with a local red face and probably change their testing drive routines
Why should the factory change their test drive routines? There's no suggestion that the test driver was breaking any speed limit.
And Howard.....it's very unlikely that you would be taken out with one of the drivers that undertake the final test drives.
