As to the "fine" for tweaking the spec; I could understand if the build were already underway, but so soon after the order, that just seems a bit strong to me.
Next time a customer changes his mind between ordering a beer and me pulling his pint I'll hit him with an administration fee. I'll let you know how I get on.
