I find some powerful Syra/Shiraz wines as pleasant as drinking Benylin (not all) but certainly I find good quality, light bodied Pinot noir preferable with the sort of lunches and dinners I enjoy, especially in the Summer

Finding a good quality Burgundy that doesn't break the bank can also be a bit of a challenge but I have had this recommended as it's perfect

Beautiful red cherry and red currant flavour with just enough complexity to keep it interesting and make the mouth water

Just enjoyed a half bottle with a plowmans style dinner

. Agree completely. I might be a bit of pleb but I also enjoy a nice Beaujolais Fleurie or Villages. I find the comparison to Benylin amusing and accurate.
