Hi Phil, i have been reading with interest all you posts over the last year or so.
What in interests me is your bevel box top mount that you have fitted. It looks like it bolts to the bevel box and adjusts to the cross member above it.
Does this give much improvement to the drive of the car? How much would this cost to make?
Also, your centra poly bushes. Can you just replace them or do you need to rework the internals as well?
Hi John, I have not tried the machine without the top mount yet but it is only a very small job to do so and if it is not needed then all well and good. I would however not fit it with the Morgan NVH kit as the support from that kit is very poor and my top mount would be taking all the load and vibration. Certainly the most important mounts are the bottom ones. As to costs I will wait to see what interest there is and then work it all out.
The Centa inserts just slide in in place of the originals - no messing about.
