John, I'm happy to take a photo of the two switches that I have - one in situ, the other not in situ. I'd rather email them to you than faff and reduce the image size and post them here. Just let me know if you need them.
I did see a couple at the Weston Park car show autojumble at Easter so they are around if you look. Perhaps next time I see one, I should just buy it but I already have a number of spare parts and loath to add more!
And yes, Graham, these indicator stalks are contemporary to both 4/4s and +8s of the same era except I believe for the earliest pre-1970 4/4 1600s
