That has not always been the case with the Slingshot and the two center headlights. The first year or so they had two outboard lights on each side and none in the middle.
So Polaris figured out a way to make the slingshot legal in the US. But Morgan failed miserably making the otherwise pretty M3W bugeyed and ugly!
The Slingshot is legal but so is the M3W. The Slingshot has been ugly... no, fugly, since day #1. What's your point again?
My point is that to comply with US laws, Polaris just added 2 lights to the middle and left the rest alone. So they kept the integrity of the original look. (Whether it was originally fugly or not is irrelevant.) Morgan completely moved the headlights from their wide stance to the middle and made it look bugeyed and hid the beautiful v-twin. It completely changes the look of the M3W. What Morgan should have done to comply with US laws is just add another set of smaller lights close in to the middle and left the current lights in their current place.
