I realised how slow the rack was and how big the wheel is compared to what I'm used to. Where I'd move 10 degrees either way on a Lotus/7 even for severe bends it was armfuls of crossed arm lock here this morning grin2

Then I switched to "feeding" the wheel as opposed to the cross arm thing. When the wheel re centred I reckon it was hitting the .00000002232 carat diamond on the ring, the bugger has never fitted and sits right in the firing line of where the scratches were when it moves around. No more rings ever doh
