My Mog is currently all in bits at RD Racing at the Paul Ricard Circuit, having three years of work done at one visit. I said to replace the rear tyre while they had all the back in bits (new brake shoes, late type hub, FAG bearings and super-lightweight steel sprocket), as the original was about 80% worn. The original Yokohama is not available in France. Most of the tyres in 175/65 x 15" seem to be cheapo Chinese/Korean rubbish and the rest fuel economy orientated. The only vaguely correct sounding tyre I can find is Dunlop SP Sport BlueResponse. Here is a link to these in the UK, although obviously I will be buying in France

With the Excelsior Comp H tyres on the front (massive improvement on Avons) and Yokohama at the back, it was beautifully balanced front/rear and just about neutral. I would be very sorry to lose that balance.
