If you are really chasing performance then perhaps.
The brake upgrade I would be interested in is ABS. It is fairly easy to lock the wheels with standard brakes let alone upgrades. Perhaps a brake bias valve to fine tune front/rear braking as well?


Alloy drums are about heat dissipation to avoid brake fade. As indeed are discs. Spirited road driving particularly with long down hills can give brake fade

I hasve. Going down Porlock hill for example. Hence the old style advice to engage low gear.
