Spirited road driving particularly with long down hills can give brake fade
I never have and believe Me I have driven very fast on very long down hill roads. You can not do much travelling in the Rockies without a 5,000'+ drop from 10,000'+ to 5,000'-. I would expect the Swiss Alps would be the same.
