Having owned 2 of these little gems in the early days, and been responsible for commisioning the Empire front end Geometry Correction fix, now being sold by Krazy Horse on a sole retailer basis, I have a continuing interest and the bevel box is just another puzzle to solve, along with the chassis breakages, serious but probably not impossible to overcome.

It strikes me that many owners have the worst noise once the BB gets hot. My 2nd one used to be reasonable for the first half an hour. It is also well documented here that the temperatures reached are very high indeed, probably as a result of excess friction, which causes the noise.

I remember that one or two owners have made a vent, to get cold air into the BB area and this has made a small improvement, so, if that is the case it struck me that a better solution might be to tap the box for some pipework and build in an oil cooler which would not only keep the oil temp. down, but carry an extra pint or so of oil, never a bad thing. Of course pumping etc would have to be worked out, but, you never know, it could work, better than the stupid NVH kit anyway.

Has this been tried yet, if not, who is going to try it?
