I think I’ve been bitten by the Roadster bug.
Despite its silly modern dashboard layout that I’m still not sure I could live with - the speedo being way off to the left and having just the clock directly in front of the driver is a bit bonkers and the whole design is hardly in keeping with the character of the car - I’m considering up-grading to a 3.7 Roadster. To be within budget it will probably have to be 3 – 4ish years old, and preferably one that’s not had a prang! (I’ve visited a few dealers recently and I’ve been surprised at the number of bent Roadsters awaiting bodywork repairs, usually to the front, that I’ve come across. Is the ‘throttle hang’ issue more serious than we thought? And the brakes can’t be that bad in them, surely??)
So I’m asking all you past and present 3.7 Roadster owners out there if there’s anything else I should be looking out for in my quest to find a replacement that’s in as good a condition as my trusty old +4. Any help or suggestions (or possible cars!) would be gratefully received.
