Not sure if I'm correct as have never driven a roadster ( would love to mind) but my observation at the Brooklands test hill is that they can struggle to get the power down when driven with gusto ( i guess this could well be classed as fun!) and I'll be corrected by those who know but i would imagine a 3.7 on the standard chassis/suspension set up would be quite a handful and maybe over-powered? Others will no doubt put me right but maybe suspension mods are the way to go to help tame the beast!
Perhaps all those bashed ones are drivers running out of talent?
