Jays, what is the legislation that you mention?

The existing ladder chassis has minimal side impact protection, also the front X frame is not pedestrian friendly. But it wouldn't be impossible to develop the front end to take a M3W type suspension and beef up the side of the chassis.

Ot perhaps develop a new, simple, alloy tub, similar to the Lotus one, or the one being developed by Alcraft.

From what I can discover the Lotus tub sell new at less than £3k, rather less than the Aero one.... And it is known that Lotus/Geeley are working on a new platform.
Combine Lotus and Morgan volumes and the unit cost would decrease. Many manufacturers share "platforms"...
