Who was it here who commented lots of electrical energy and lots of petrol energy were a disaster waiting to happen?

We risked something like that with the Morgan a couple of years back. The hose connecting to the injectors came off. There was a great smell of petrol and the car seemed to have run out of fuel and I pulled to the side of the road and turned the ignition off. Petrol was running down the running board! Fortunately on the opposite side to the hot exhaust. I managed to re-attach it and tightened things up with the aid of my trusty Swiss Army Knife. Alis, who was in the water for some time following a ship fire when she was 14, was quite shaken.

Later turned out that there must have been a faulty batch of tubing and it has since been replaced.
