TM is by far the most gentlemanly forum I've visited. When I was on the MG forum way back, it could get very caustic, and of course SELOC, the Lotus forum is awash with testosterone.
On the matter of moving on from Morgan, I understand the mindset. It happened to me with MG, after 'a lifetime' of involvement and ten MGs, one day I realised I'd had enough, and done and seen it all. One door closed and another door opened.
I don't envisage moving on from Morgan, but who knows what the future holds. I'm happy with the product and the experience, and I accept the idiosynchrasies of the brand. Yes I wish that MMC would grab hold of the spares situation and make it world class. Yes I wish that some bits and pieces were better quality, but the fact is that Morgans survive over the years when cars which were rivals in the 50's, 60's, 70's and so on, and were made in much larger numbers do not.
I read views on TM with interest no matter what they are - its just like listening in to a conversation in the pub. But I'm totally relaxed about it.

I was in the coffee shop last week with two colleagues and we were talking cars, and basically about what I might get next for MrsW. On the next table, the customer as listening and chipped in. "Whatever you do, don't get one of those" he said. I bought a new one last year and its been the worst and most unreliable car I've ever had. It needed a new engine at 10,000 miles and its constant trouble.................." "The quality is nowhere near as good as my previous car, An Audi TT".
