We have some 'lumps' that have appeared over time under our running board tread rubbers

On removing the rubber insert we found that the screws holding the aluminium extrusion to the wing had rusted, once again Morgan are fitted steel screws and nuts where the result when getting wet is corrosion and rust. FIT STAINLESS for a few pence more!

Interesting to note is that the screws are round head and prevent the rubber tread fitting properly so fit countersunk!

The rust on the screw was expanding and pushing the rubber upwards so a keen eye could spot the bumps along the rubber tread when fitted.

Anyone on TM had similar issue? see photos
