I received a interesting Christmas gift. An obviously vintage package of note cards and envelopes. The cars and envelopes both have a colored painting of what I believe to be a (red with silver wheels) 1934 Matchless Super Sports done by what appears to be D.G. Mackay Jr.
The car in the painting sports the license JC 1519. The box is old and damaged. It has the following printed on the side of the cover. A Communi-Kate Product, by Rust Craft. Made in England. 25 Sheets, 20 Matching Envelopes.
(FYI, 24 sheets and 18 Envelopes are in the box.)
Any ideas on it's origin??
Cheers,
