Reading the thread on ground clearance also got me thinking they could come in very handy if you had a (tyre) puncture.
Simply deflate them slighty, slide them under the running board and pump them up (without getting arrested).
Change the wheel and place her back in the passenger seat.
Whereas no doubt
would be complaining all the way home.
You know it makes sense!
