Mine is a 2015 +4 and dosen't really do cold air, rather varying degrees of warm from slightly cool up to nuclear hot, my sponge seal is a bit squashed about so could be improved,
Personally hasn't bothered me too much as I tend to drive roof down as much as possible, I find I get enough air through the sliding windows if I need to cool things a bit.
