I guess we can now assume from the variety of opinions that it all depends on which model & therefore which calipers are fitted additionally which existing pad brand/version are installed so greenstuff may improve some installations whereas others take a backwards step by ‘upgrading’ My plus 8 was an 89 vitesse engined model with useless single pot calipers, only when I changed to decent twin pot calipers did It really improve matters.
There's also the not insignificant matter of driving style and usage profile. If you're the kind of driver that likes to do track days, and/or drive using the brakes heavily then you're going to need an entirely different compound from someone who likes to tour about the place smoothly and tends not to brake much. Personally, I don't think there's any such thing as a set of pads that are objectively better than another set for all circumstances. Too many variables.
