The easiest way to blank off the oiler system is at the 3-way union on the firewall. Take the two oiler pipes out, remove the olive and the union nut, and bung a ¼" steel ball into the body of the union. Then you can tighten the union nut up and block off the exit.
That way you don't have to strip out the foot button or the feed to the oil pressure gauge.
