Considering
the route we took , I have nothing but praise for how well the manual mode of the autobox works.
That was just one of the Cols that we did Simon, don't forget the famous Col de Turini and the many others between Menton and Embrun, see the route
here.The next day three cars headed from Embrun towards Switzerland, but after another hard mornings drive the ladies called 'time out' and so we headed to Annency and then Geneva after a really amazing drive.
We have traversed Route Napoleon more than several times, but we have never done this Route before and there is really no comparison. Roll on next year's Aero Club event so that we can drive it again...
