Given they are using the 3.7 Mustang engine in trads. already, they have to be looking at the light pressure turbo Ecoboost 4 cylinder engines, used in Mustangs and Focus. The 2.3 produces around 350 bhp and monster torque and the 1.6 is around 220bhp both straight out of the crate. They are current engines with all emission testing done. Power, and current emissions all sorted. What they will do with the Aero though is anyone's guess.

I would put money on the fact that there is now or will soon be a mule running around with one or both these engines in it. (But not running at the same time in the same car of course, that would be just silly!)
