Try your local vehicle sign writers, mine charged me £5 including fitting for an oblong one on the bonnet of my rally car.
Never had a problem with it on the bonnet of a 205 for MoT purposes. MOT tester said it complied with the purpose of the legislation which was that a vehicle could be clearly identified
The MSA scrutineer used to get his knickers in a twist about it though ......
