The front indicator unit had debonded due to the exhaust heat and similar to yours several of the leds failed prior to the whole unit failing.

On a positive note pairs of motorcycle type led indicators completed with stantions are readily available which in the long term will provide a better solution than Morgans original design.


The old style can shaped thermal flasher units relied on a specific current flowing through them, usually rated at 2 x 21 watt, to flash at correct interval. Because LED's draw virtually no current a different type of current independant flasher system has to be employed, which would explain your findings.
